Fashion photographer Kristina Voiloshnikova was born on August 31, 1989, in Kostanai, Kazakhstan, in the family of teachers Sergey and Svetlana Voiloshnikova. Her parents, who taught at the Pedagogical Institute, inspired Kristina and her brother Sergey to study, create, and strive for high achievements. Kristina graduated high school with honors, became a black belt in Taekwondo, won several championship titles, including bronze at the Asian Junior Championships, and participated in the adult World Championships.

Kristina's journey into photography began in high school, where she not only excelled in theater, playing lead roles, but also discovered her talent for capturing moments behind the scenes on her father's camera. These early works, which showcased the depth and creativity of high school life, were not only published but also became a part of the theater studio's interior. This early success ignited her passion for portraiture and stylization, which later blossomed into a professional mastery of fashion photography. Kristina Voiloshnikova, a future fashion photographer, developed a unique style that combined dramatic poses, compositional effects, mastery of models and light, and the art of storytelling through images. Her first steps in this direction were taken in the school theater studio, a place that would shape her future work.

Kristina answered several questions about her experience in fashion and photography.

For example, she was asked about her most memorable shoots. Fashion photographer Kristina Voiloshnikova answered: "Three photo shoots have been especially vivid in my memory. The first one was a social project where I photographed a large family for an all-Russian competition, and I had to keep an eye on the children who were constantly running in all directions. The second was a jewelry photo shoot conducted in the wilderness at a hot spring, where we got there on foot despite the difficulties with equipment and insects. The third was the creation of my first lookbook for the AVGUST brand, where I worked with a great team, and although the shoot took a long time, I was thrilled with the results".

Based on this answer, it was logical to ask how fashion photographer Kristina Voiloshnikova created her brand.

Kristina answered: "My brand AVGUST was born out of necessity. Living in Kamchatka, where winters are cold and snowy, I lacked suitable clothing. When I needed a warm and beautiful cashmere sweater, I created one myself. Research showed that many people need quality and stylish clothing, which led to the creation of AVGUST. Now the brand has over 50 items in cashmere, wool, and cotton, and thanks to the high quality and natural materials, the clothes have found their fans and gained popularity."

Kristina has been recognized for her contribution to creating her clothing line and for her achievements in fashion photography. In 2021, she was honored to win a competition organized by Hello! magazine, where the jury highly appreciated her innovative approach and personal contribution to the development of fashion photography in Russia. Her methods of working with models and her ability to create stylish photos have helped many brands to stand out and gain popularity. Kristina's photos reflect the unique style of brands, making them recognizable and accessible to a broad audience. Kristina has been a member of the expert jury of awards on numerous occasions, confirming her authority in the industry, and has contributed to the selection of key figures in the world of fashion and beauty.

Recently, Kristina has been focusing on teaching aspiring photographers, thus contributing to spreading and deepening the knowledge of fashion photography.
